Saturday began with a short SBCS business meeting followed by the ever-popular morning swap meet at the host hotel in Charlottesville. About 12 members brought hundreds of buildings for sale and trade. Itinerary options then included an ACHS walking tour of historic Charlottesville and then an after-hours tour of Monticello. As expected, most of the group headed directly to the gift shop in search of a souvenir replica of Jefferson’s home. We ended the day with a buffet dinner, show & tell of special souvenir buildings and finally a raffle of donated buildings. Everyone had a great time and next year’s convention is tentatively scheduled for Los Angeles.
