A member of the Yahoo group named “SouvenirBuildingCollectors” alerted me to this photo illustration which was part of a New York Times story entitiled “How Lehman Brothers got its real estate fix.” It’s an interesting image, but I wonder…did Lehman bros. own the Chrysler Building or was it just the illustrator’s creative use of a recognizable, pointy, syringe-like skyscraper?

The Chrysler Building is owned by Cooper Union (and a GREAT miniature of that building too in a few vNYC ersions!). The amount from that real estate lets CU give FREE tuition to ALL it's students.
