A few years ago, I wrote about a statue of Ricardo Alegría, the famous archaeologist in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The statue depicted Alegria holding miniature bronze replicas of buildings. Well, no longer. Seems some thief broke off and stole the buildings right out of his hand. Thanks to Julio, another building collector, who sent this tip and photos of the missing replica. See the in-tack statue HERE when I wrote about it in 2008.
